Children always find ways to surprise their parents – in this case, pleasantly surprise!
Father-of-three Aaron Gouveia of Franklin, Massachusetts doesn’t know much about fashion, admitting he’s “a typical, cargo-shorts-wearing, middle-aged dad.” His 9-year-old son, Sam, however, is a budding fashion designer who takes sewing classes every week and frequently makes items like pillowcases, pajama pants, and other garments for friends and family. Aaron shares some of Sam’s work on his TikTok page. in fact, Aaron once went viral for a video of Sam receiving his first sewing machine for his birthday.
In the video below, Sam shyly enters Aaron’s bedroom clutching a blue button-down shirt he made for his dad. In seconds, the child’s face goes from worried to overjoyed, and it’s all thanks to Aaron’s genuine pleasure and pride at receiving the handmade gift from his son.
