Father Ditches “Dad Bod,” Losing 80+ Pounds — Now He Looks Like A College Student!

Keeping up with kids is never easy, but when you’re severely overweight, it’s even more of a challenge.

Jeremiah Peterson, a 39-year-old antiques dealer from Missoula, Montana, said he first decided to lose some weight because he couldn’t keep up with his three energetic children. Years of bad habits had caught up with Jeremiah. He’d given up exercise and ate badly, and he consumed at least two beers at the end of every day when he got home from work. After a colonoscopy revealed a gluten allergy and intestinal reaction to processed foods, he knew something had to change.

At his heaviest, Jeremiah weighed 280 pounds. He was addicted to carbohydrates but was ready and willing to ditch the carbs in favor of a keto diet that was high in fats, lean protein, and low-carb vegetables.

In July 2017, Jeremiah joined a website called mytransphormationstartstoday.com. It helped him develop a meal plan and workout program that suits his lifestyle. The site also offers regular transformation competitions that award cash prizes, an incentive Jeremiah says spurred him on even further.

He also started hiking again, a pastime he had always loved. He now hikes for two hours every day, plus he spends an hour in the gym, chiseling those muscles even more.

The result of Jeremiah’s hard work is an 82-pound weight loss in just half a year – 180 days. Now, Jeremiah says he feels better than ever, and he has the energy and stamina of a man half his age!

As an added bonus, people often comment that he looks at least twenty years younger. “I went from having a real dad-bod to having a college kid’s physique,” Jeremiah said.

“Since going from fat to lean it’s made everything better, my hair and skin look healthier, you can see my jawline instead of chubby cheeks, and I have abs.”

You can say that again, Jeremiah!
