Parents often give gifts to their children’s teachers, usually at the end of the school year, to thank them for all their hard work and dedication. Let’s face it, heading a classroom filled with dozens of children isn’t easy.
Usually, the gifts come in the form of gift certificates or little trinkets. But Huntsville, Alabama, resident Courtney Adeleye had something else in mind, especially after finding out her children’s teacher had to take multiple buses to and from school every day. No one wants the person tasked with teaching their children to be exhausted before the first bell has even rung.

So she decided to do something about it. But she wanted to go big. Something beyond almost everyone else’s means, since Courtney is the founder and CEO of haircare line ‘The Mane Choice’!
When my husband tells me that the teacher who has been teaching my girls for the last few years has been catching multiple buses to get to and from work every day in the hot sun and cold! He said we should give her something I said….say no more!
Courtney unveiled the surprise last month, after leading the teacher into the school’s parking lot: A brand new car, topped with a blue ribbon!

Courtney’s 11-year-old daughter caught the teacher’s reaction on video and she’s every bit surprised and extremely thankful! She breaks down into tears the moment she sees the present and can’t seem to wrap her mind around the fact that she has a new car for the first time in her life.
“Are you serious? Oh my gosh, are you serious? You’re really serious,”she says, covering her face with her hands, then circling around and pulling Courtney’s husband into a hug. The video ends with her arms wrapped around Courtney’s shoulders, her face still crumpled with happy tears and still exclaiming, “Oh my gosh, oh my gosh!”

And that’s perfectly understandable; we’d all be short on words if someone just up and gifted us a brand new car!
