Everybody’s favorite Christmas movie seems to be the hilarious Will Ferrell film, Elf. In this movie, a silly elf makes his way around New York City, spreading some chaotic Christmas cheer. A sleigh is featured in Elf, and now it has made its way to Central Park!

That’s right. The real sleigh from the Elf movie is sitting in Central Park. Visitors can take pictures in front of it and enjoy checking out the features, including the Kringle 3000 jet-propelled sleigh engine, of course!

This sleigh was purchased by Elf fan, Mark Bozek for a steep $12,000. While his initial bid was $500, the auction was intense, and he ultimately paid quite a chunk of change for this!

The sleigh made its way to downtown NYC after a police escort. In fact, Mark gave the sleigh to the Halesite Fire Department and now they’re spreading the love with New York.

Fans are loving the opportunity to take pictures with the sleigh. It’s so cool to see a prop from such a beloved film in real life!
