She started by explaining the grief that was coming up for her because of the feeling her father hadn’t met her fiancé. It felt like a hard reality, but she knew he’d love him anyway.
Then, the woman’s boyfriend proposed to her in a park that had a meaningful connection to her dad. It’s amazing how these things sometimes happen!
The girl explained that roses were representative of her relationship with her father. Even if her father hadn’t met her fiancé, she had stories about him to share.
Suddenly, after their proposal, a man walked up and gave her a red rose!
Finally, she had done some picture-sifting and realized that, in fact, her father had met her fiancé. Years ago, when her fiancé was a kid, he went on a field trip with this woman’s brother. Her dad took the photo. He met Austin after all.
Losing a loved one is one of the hardest things that can happen. But clearly, this woman is showing that her dad is still all around her. What a powerful story!
