Just when you think dogs can’t get any more wholesome, they do something new that makes us go, “aww!” A woman on TikTok shared her encounter with a four-legged stranger, and it proves that dogs really are humans’ best friends. Alice Benham was floating in the sea early one morning when an adorable pooch came swimming up to her. Apparently, the pup saw her laying still in the water and wanted to make sure she was alright!
Commenters couldn’t help but gush over the protective pooch, who swam in a circle around the floating woman until she showed signs of life.
“We don’t deserve dogs,” wrote one user, while another joked, “Actually that’s the lifeguard.”
