Back in 1985, the now famous movie Back to the Future hit the silver screen for the first time. It starred Michael J. Fox as teenager Marty McFly, who was sent back in time to 1955, by the eccentric scientist Dr. Emmett “Doc” Brown.

There he met his future parents, when they’re in high school, and accidentally becomes his mother’s romantic interest. Marty and Doc must then repair the damage he made to history by making his parents fall in love all over again. To top it all off, they must also find a way to return Marty to 1985. If you haven’t seen the movie by now, we won’t give it away, but you know what to do this weekend!

The famous flick launched Michael J. Fox to stardom. Since its’ release, he has won numerous Emmy awards and he also became an outspoken advocate for Parkinson’s disease after being diagnosed in 1998. Now, nearly 20 years later, we find him in a different kind of role: on-stage with none other than Chris Martin of Coldplay.

Chris Martin’s son is a huge fan of Back to the Future, and requested over video that his dad play some songs from the classic movie. When Martin started to play a rendition of “Earth Angel”, a song from the Back To The Future soundtrack, Fox jumped on stage, grabbed a guitar, and joined him. But the party really got going in the moment shown below, when Fox started the next tune, Jonny B. Goode. You will not believe his amazing guitar skills!
