I’m convinced that nearly every person on Earth is familiar with the song, “Never Gonna Give You Up.” When this choir decided to cover the iconic tune, they invited Rick Astley to attend a performance… and he did!
Many of us have been “rickrolled,” when a person surprises you with this familiar tune. It’s a classic earworm, and this Rick Astley classic is universal in appeal. But few of us have been rickrolled by Rick Astley himself!
Choir! Choir! Choir! is an established musical group that covers all sorts of songs. They’re a well-known choir group with a prominent YouTube following, and they reached out to Rick Astley to join in on the fun.
“We love your music, we celebrate music, and you have some wicked songs, man. So come and sing with us,” pleaded Daveed Foreman, founder of the group.
Only a few weeks later, Rick Astley responded and decided to join this choir in song!
The result is an epic video of multi-part cover of this iconic tune. The harmonies were incredible, and hearing the song with such a large group is unique and awe-inspiring.
