Woman’s Story Of Helping Elderly Stranger On Sidewalk Will Touch Your Heart.

Have you ever had a moment when a little voice inside your head tells you to step up and help someone, even if they didn’t ask for help? Chances are, you have.

That intuition or inner voice can come in handy in life; it can even save your life or the life of someone close to you.

Author Celeste Ng recently shared her experience with listening to that inner voice on Twitter, and now her series of tweets is going viral. Around the world, people are praising her for listening to her heart and offering help when she didn’t have to do so.

Celeste was on her way to the gym in her hometown of Cambridge, Massachusetts, when she spotted an elderly woman sitting on the sidewalk. Rather than just keep driving, Celeste listened to her heart, and now she’s so glad she did.

Celeste’s Twitter feed soon became inundated with people who wanted to thank her for going out of her way to help a neighbor. More than one person mentioned how Celeste’s simple act of graciousness is the kind of shining light the world needs more of these days.

Would you have stopped, or kept on driving?

Let’s all use Celeste’s experience to remind ourselves that sometimes, just asking if they need help is enough.
