Here’s a Home Alone reunion we didn’t see coming! Catherine O’Hara, who played Kate McAllister, and Macaulay Culkin, who played Kevin, shared the stage at Macaulay’s Walk of Fame ceremony this week.
The two go way back, with their first project together being the famous Christmas movie, Home Alone. Home Alone was released in 1990, so these two go back over 30 years!
Catherine O’Hara’s speech was extremely kind and thoughtful. Catherine spoke of Macaulay’s natural presence as an actor, as well as his unique sense of humor, delighting the Walk of Fame audience. The two clearly have a powerful rapport that has sustained their friendship over the years.
It’s amazing to see the Schitt’s Creek star speak with such kindness! It’s a bit of a difference from her well-known persona of Moira!
Thousands have enjoyed this clip, reminiscing the power of Macaulay’s childhood role.
