Cat Has Precious Reaction To Mom Bringing Home Abandoned Kitten

When this cat mom brought home a new kitten, she was a little concerned about what her older feline’s reaction would be. However, it turns out that there was nothing to worry about. After an initial adjustment period, Blue Belle seems to have accepted the kitty as a member of the family. In fact, she might just be more attached to the little guy than their owner!

Lisa caught the most adorable footage of her cat cuddling with the new kitten, named Arthur. Blue Belle seemed very protective of her new friend, laying a paw on the smaller animal and licking his face affectionately. From time to time, she’d meow at her owner, as if trying to communicate something. Watching their behavior together, you’d guess these two were mother and son!

Although Lisa was originally nervous about her cat’s reaction to her introducing a new kitten into the house, she didn’t really have a choice. What else was she supposed to do when she found an abandoned animal with such a sweet face? Thankfully, everything worked out in the end!

Commenters loved this older cat’s reaction to having a kitten to care for. Many joked that Arthur doesn’t belong to Lisa at all, but to Blue Belle!

“He is NOT your kitten, it is hers now,” wrote one user.

Others were in awe at how quickly the cat’s motherly instincts kicked in.

“Oh the way she’s grooming him like a natural mother is beautiful,” someone said.

Another person added, “He is not abandoned anymore.”

It’s truly amazing to see these two cats bonding with one another. Even though they’re not related by blood, they’re definitely family now! We’re so glad that Arthur has a loving home.
