It’s been nearly five years since the world said goodbye to our very own Princess Leia, otherwise known as actress Carrie Fisher. She may be gone, but she is certainly not forgotten!
On October 21, 2021, Fisher would have turned 65 years old. Her good friend and costar Mark Hamill made sure to remember her on this date, tweeting an image of the two of them on the “Star Wars” set back in the 1970s.
“Happy Birthday to a very special someone who was never not fun & always highly tolerant of my juvenile on-set high jinks … even when she wasn’t in the mood,” he wrote, adding the hashtag #CarrieOnForever.
Hamill wasn’t the only one with Fisher on his mind. Fisher’s only child, actress Billie Lourd, also shared a throwback photo of her mother and herself as a young child on the set of “Star Wars” in the 1990s.
Lourd honored her “momby’s” memory by indulging in a few of Fisher’s favorite things, including Coca-Cola and Krispy Kreme donuts. We’re sure Fisher would approve!
