Mascots and cheer squads play an important role during a game. They both entertain and fire up the audience in their own way.
But sometimes, the mascot and the cheerleaders team up to deliver a fun, memorable performance! One incredible example involved the BYU mascot Cosmo Cougar and the BYU Cougarettes.
The unforgettable routine took place in 2017 during a game between the BYU Cougars and the Boise State Broncos.

As the game pauses for a timeout, the Cougarettes line up awaiting the music. That’s when Cosmo joins them on the field.

The cheerleaders are flawless, but we really have t0o give it up for Cosmo. Not only can he keep up with the cheerleaders without missing a beat, he does it in his hot and stuffy mascot costume. Major props!
