Bubble Wrap Makes Pops And Bops Thanks To This Clever Inventor Turned Musician.

musical instrument made of bubble wrap

Sometimes, the best thing about getting a package in the mail is not the package itself, but the bubble wrap that comes with it (only bubble wrap lovers will understand).

Well, bubble wrap lovers, check this out: Swedish Inventor Simone Giertz is making the activity of popping bubble wrap even more fun! Instead of just protecting our precious cargo, she’s made it possible to produce sound with it… how cool is that?

Here’s how it works: The machine can play a song by popping the bubble wrap into a pan flute. Of course, the instrument is more complicated than that, and she also had the help of an engineer, but nevertheless, the result is simply impressive!

According to Simone, it took about a month to finish her masterpiece which, so far, has gotten thousands of likes and comments from people all over the world. While she hasn’t given it a definite name yet, Simone said she is thinking of calling it “Bubble (W)rap” or “Bubble Pop.” This is certainly a tough decision to make!

Who knew bubble wrap could make people dance? Add that to the list of reasons why popping bubble wrap is the best!

Watch Simone’s amazing invention below, and don’t forget to share it with a fellow bubble wrap lover.
