“We Could Feel You.” Man With Paralyzed Vocal Cord Delivers Unbelievable Performance.

So much can happen in a single year – just ask Bay Turner.

In 2021, he learned that there were two benign cysts in his chest. Bay underwent a routine surgery to remove them, but when the anesthesiologist accidentally nicked his vocal cord, it was left paralyzed. Still, this determined 25-year-old was set on getting his singing voice back.

After countless hours of practice with the help of vocal coaches, not only is Bay back to singing, he’s already at a point where he’s able to compete in “America’s Got Talent!” It seems he was a bit nervous at his audition, but all of that melted away the moment it was time to perform.

“My dream is to sell out the biggest stages, the biggest arenas around the world – just make people feel something,” Bay told the judges. “I know it’s what I’m here to do.”

As Bay perfectly hit the many high notes of “Biblical” by Calum Scott, it seemed as though everyone in the audience got chills. Plus, the way he allowed the emotions he was feeling come across his face truly showed how passionate he is about his art.

“We don’t only hear you singing – we could feel you singing,” Howie Mandel said.

We couldn’t have put it better ourselves! Congrats on such a successful performance, Bay! We wish you many more in the years to come.
