Bruce Springsteen Stranded On Side Of Road, Rescued By Biker Gang Returning Home From Vietnam Memorial.

Dan Barklow was riding through the countryside in Freehold, NJ when he noticed a fellow biker stranded on the side of the road. Instead of riding past and letting him find his own way home, Barklow pulled over with his buddies to help the lone rider out. As he approached the man, Barklow noticed he looked familiar. They had stumbled upon none other than Bruce Springsteen.

“It’s a day I probably won’t forget for a while,” Dan Barkalow, 54, told CNN. “The moment I got off the bike I saw it was him, and he was a real nice, down-to-earth guy.”

Barklow and his comrades were riding back from a Vietnam Veteran’s memorial service when they saw Springsteen stranded. The rockstar couldn’t have been nicer. He made sure to get the contact information for each member of the crew and offered to invite them to a show.

“Springsteen said, ‘If I’m ever in the area I’ll get you tickets for the show.’ It was pretty neat,” Ryan Bailey, another rider, said.

Barklow was blown away by “The Man’s” humble attitude. After posting the interchange to their group’s Facebook page, the post went viral for all the right reasons.

“All I know is, I’m a pretty humble guy. I just stopped to help someone out.”
