Cancer treatment often means hair loss, which can add another layer of challenge and fear for kids. Rodney Myson’s nephew, Mason, is currently battling cancer. Rodney’s son, Jaxson, wanted to support his cousin, so he decided to shave his head in solidarity. To make the move even more touching, he and his dad FaceTimed Mason during the shave. Jaxson Didn’t Want His Cousin to Feel Alone During His Cancer Fight
The word cancer just meant that this cousin was going to show up big for the little boy he loves.
“Hi Mason,” Jaxson says.
“Jaxson, no!” Mason responds.
“What?” Jaxson says with a smile.
“You did not,” Mason says through tears.
“Yes, I did,” Jaxson laughs back with tears in his eyes.
It is so clear that these boys love one another like brothers, and it’s about the most touching thing we’ve seen in a very long time. We’ve often heard that cousins are our best friends, and Jaxson and Mason prove that theory 100%.
The moment touched the hearts of millions who collectively prayed for the little boy’s cancer.
