In November 2024, Full House star Dave Coulier announced he had stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. He underwent treatment and began the road to recovery. In December 2025, he made a second surprising health announcement. Dave’s doctors diagnosed him with tongue cancer. Just two months later, in February 2026, he shared that his cancer was in remission. On October 13, 2026, several Full House cast members appeared at the Scleroderma Research Foundation’s Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine fundraising event, but Dave was noticeably missing. He sent a recorded message for honoree John Stamos and looked great.

“I’m so sorry that I can’t be there at the Scleroderma Research Foundation’s Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine event because… well, I’m here on a tractor in Michigan,” Dave said. “I want to congratulate you, John, on receiving the Bob Saget Legacy Award. You and Bob have always been like beautiful sisters to me, and I love you very much.”

According to Jodie Sweetin, Dave Coulier’s health continues to improve.

Jodie Sweetin Shared Good News About Dave Coulier’s Health

At the event, Jodie Sweetin told People that Dave Coulier’s cancer is in remission and he’s on the mend.

“We’re still super close,” she said. “We’re all doing 90s Con in Hartford this coming weekend. Yeah, we’re like obnoxiously annoyingly close. Andrea Barber and I just stayed at Dave Coulier’s for a weekend. Yeah, we’re a family.”

Jodie admitted that Dave has had a very difficult last couple of years, but he’s not letting cancer bring him down.

“He’s doing great,” she said “We did an arts fundraiser for arts programs in Detroit called The Coney that we went out there and did. It was so much fun, and he’s doing great.”
