Elvis did it right when he recorded and released the song ‘Jailhouse Rock’ in 1957. The hit is #67 on Rolling Stone’s list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. Needless to say, it’s legendary.
So, it’s no wonder that countless of people have tried to emulate the movin’ and groovin’ shown in the epic music video. But we’ve found a 2-year-old that might be one of the best yet. Young William Stokkebroe has no shame as he gets out on the dance floor, and goes all out with moves that he actually learned from his parents, who dance for Studie43.
His version here is pure entertainment. It reminds me of those moments of childhood that are so sweet – when kids just dive into something because it seems fun.
As adults, we certainly need more of that sentiment. When’s the last time you just “went for it” without thinking through 1,000 different negatives? For me, it’s been a while. That’s why this kid is so refreshing to watch! And he’s just a born entertainer.
