The couple is so excited to see each other during this short visit, but it can be hard to have such incredibly limited time together. That’s why Yin came up with a heartfelt plan to give his 26-year-old wife a daily reminder of his love.
According to Metro, the last time he visited he could see how truly busy Zhao Mai was with her job as a teacher, which was the inspiration for his idea: to cook 12 months worth of dinners for his sweet wife.

That meant 634 cups of Zhao’s favorite noodle soup, more than 1,000 varieties of dumplings and other assorted meals… and he individually packed each and every one and stuck them in the freezer so they would keep over one entire year.
It wasn’t easy though. Yin had to call on the help of some family to help store some food in freezers.
To put the final touch on this incredible gesture, Yin left a very sweet note for Zhao Mai:
“You’re so focused on your work and have so much to read when you get home that I want to make life easier for you.”
Then came a P.S…. Yin left reminders all throughout the house for Zhao Mai to find… mostly of sweet treats for Zhao Mai to use as pick-me-ups:
“Here is your first surprise. You can find a bag of raisins at the back of the sofa in the living room.â€

Zhao Mai couldn’t be more grateful for the love her husband showed with such a wonderfully thoughtful gift!
“I have to admit his food packages help keep me going and it’s great to know that he loves me. In some way every time I have my meal I know he is with me.â€
Here’s the Takeaway: Go above and beyond to show your loved ones just how special they are to you! It’s a small price to pay for all that they do for you.
