She had no clue who the little guy was… but she saw him drop his bike straight to the ground in their driveway, run inside and run towards the family dog named Dutchess. The boy gave the black lab a quick hug and some scratches, then scampered off to to whatever he was doing that day.

Hollie was so tickled by the little boy’s sweet actions that she took to Facebook to try and find out who the boy was.

“Attn Neighbors! Anyone know who this sweet little boy is? Every now and then when he rides his bike he will quickly come and love on my dog or play fetch real quick, but always leaves quick like he doesn’t know if he should be here! I’d like to tell him he’s welcome to stay and play, she loves the attention!â€

Word quickly spread, and thanks to the power of Facebook, Hollie discovered the boy’s identity within 24 hours. The little boy’s mother, Ginger Clement Breaux, confirmed the boy was her son Josh.

It turns out that Josh had a dog of his own not too long ago, but after the pooch passed away he decided to give Dutchess all his love. Now that he has permission, the duo has been inseperable.

“Last night when I first saw it, I was torn as a momma being happy and upset because he knows he shouldn’t be on someone’s property, but I wake up this morning more happy that he just absolutely adores dogs so much,”Ginger wrote on her Facebook page.

Ginger plan’s on getting Josh a dog of his own in the near future, but for now Josh and Duchess are passing the summer day’s in pure bliss.
