Adorable Little Boy Does The Absolute Most To Blow Out His Birthday Candle.

noah birthday candle blunder

Because everyone is out to steal our joy, back in 2017, researchers revealed just how nasty it is to blow out birthday candles. Thanks.

They made some “cakes” by spreading frosting on tinfoil and throwing some candles into the mix. They measured bacteria levels on the frosting prior to the spit-fest, had participants eat some pizza to stimulate the salivary glands, and let them blow the candles out. Afterward, they measured bacteria levels and the frosting contained 14 times more bacteria than it did to start. The little guy in the following video, however, takes your puny 14 and raises you about 100.

When Noah’s birthday rolled around, Mom and Dad stuck a candle in a piece of cake and told him to blow it out. Never one to balk at a challenge, he puckered up and essentially blew raspberries all over the thing.

Sadly, this method was not working. What to do, what to do…

The spitting continued for a solid minute until he figured he’d try another trick. The flames were growing, wax was getting everywhere, and it was time to pull out all the stops. So Noah barked at it. Yes, that’s right. He thought he’d try to use sound to blow out a candle because that’s just how kids are. You can’t knock their creativity, right?

Still nothing. Hm. Telekinesis, maybe? Sure, let’s try it. So he made his best concentration face and tried to will the flame to go out with mind power alone.

Shockingly, it wasn’t exactly a roaring success. Watch all of the birthday hilarity unfold and stay until the end to see if he finally, at long last, pulled it off. (Spoiler alert: It’s super cute either way.)
