A simple family meal turned into a dream come true for Carol Cesario over the weekend. The much loved cancer patient had just one item left on her bucket list… to meet the great Jon Bon Jovi. Carol’s daughter Rosie took to facebook to make it happen, and the viral post caught the attention of the stadium rocking superstar.

This is my mom Carol Cesario. The most loving and caring person you will ever meet. She has stage 4 lung cancer. She is known as mom to a lot of people because she has taken care of so many kids. She has 4 children of her own that she took amazing care of. Always made sure we had what we wanted and what we needed.

I remember dancing around our home when I was little to Bon Jovi with her and when I was older rocking out in the car with her on our way to the beach in Seaside Nj. After a few weeks, the unbelievable happened. Bon Jovi contacted Rosie and invited their entire family to his New Jersey restaurant, JBJ Soul Kitchen, and surprised Carol in the most beautiful moment. According to Rosie, the musician spent nearly two hours with Carol and her family, played them his new record, and gave Carol a signed guitar.
