Matej Priteržnik of Slovenia was visiting London, England, one summer day when he happened upon a beautiful moment of unity and joy.
As he was passing through a crowded park, his attention was quickly drawn to a man sitting alone on a park bench. The stranger began singing “Livin’ On A Prayer” by Bon Jovi in a deep, soulful voice, and it didn’t take long for others to join in!

Just about everyone knows the lyrics to this 80s rock song, so when the man reached the second verse, he had plenty of backup singers. By the time he returned to the chorus, the entire park was belting out lyrics with him!
She says, we’ve got to hold on to what we’ve got
It doesn’t make a difference if we make it or not
We’ve got each other and that’s a lot for love
We’ll give it a shot!

Matej recorded the moment, so we can see for ourselves how these people from all walks of life come together through music! Toward the end of the clip, the original singer salutes everyone with his drink and carries on with his day.
After Matej posted the video on YouTube, it went viral. That’s when something interesting happened: People started coming forward with other sightings of the mysterious musician.
As it turns out, he sings “Livin’ On A Prayer” whenever he can, whether that’s in subways or on a bench.

Donna Whitehead of London spotted him on her “tube journey home” and shared a video of him crooning his heart out.
After her tweet, even more people shared their stories of the mysterious stranger – some dating as far back as 2012!

“OMG what a legend,” tweeted Bradley, who was lucky enough to see him. “This is him singing on my train in 2018!”
Another fan, Scott, wrote, “My girlfriend saw him a few months ago. Nice to see something other than aggression on the underground.”
We may not know who this person is, but we are certain he’s been taking music around London for years!

What a talented individual! Maybe some important music executive will spot him and give him his big break. Until then, we’ll be hoping we stumble upon one of his impromptu performances one day.
