One legally blind man was so dedicated to his work, he used to walk two hours there and back every day! Walmart janitor Bill Moczulewski made the five mile trek starting each evening at sunset, returning home the next day. According to THV11, the Arkansas resident traveled to work on foot regardless of the weather. That’s how he met Christy Conrad, who would end up changing his life.

When this woman saw the blind man walking to work, she stopped to offer him a ride in her car. As she learned more about Bill’s situation, she knew that he deserved better. So, she decided to drive him to the Walmart in Cabot, Arkansas, as often as possible.

However, Christy realized that wasn’t enough. When she couldn’t offer the blind man a lift, it meant he’d still be walking the five miles to work. That’s when she decided to reach out to the rest of the community for help.

In a Facebook page called Mr. Bill’s Village, Christy has been coordinating rides for the blind man with other locals. In addition to driving him to work, community members have also been helping out with meals. Not only has this made life a lot easier for Bill, but it’s also introduced him to many new friends!

Christy still drives Bill Moczulewski to work and anywhere else he needs whenever she’s free. Sometimes, they also get meals together. Apparently, though, there’s a lot of competition to give this man a ride. Community members are always on the lookout for the blind man.

“It’s just like ‘Where’s Waldo,’ but ‘Where’s Mr. Bill'” Christy joked to THV11.

Things have really changed for the better for Bill Moczulewski, and he couldn’t be more grateful to all his new friends!
