Jonathan Daniels wanted to surprise his longtime girlfriend Lindsay with two tickets to her favorite music artist, Blake Shelton. So with the best of intentions, the big hearted boyfriend picked up the tickets on September 14th, but the very next day his life changed forever.

Daniels was out riding his motorcycle with some friends the next day when a young kid pulled straight out in front of him. Daniels bounced off the car and was propelled into a telephone pole when he finally came to rest on the ground below. When the EMT’s arrived on scene, they didn’t think he’d make it through the night… but they were wrong.

Daniels survived two collapsed lungs, one punctured lung, brain bleeding, a lacerated liver, kidney, spleen and multiple fractures throughout his body.
After 15 days in the hospital, Daniels was finally released… but the young man and his girlfriend would miss the much anticipated Blake Shelton concert.

Thankful for his life but sad to miss the show, Daniels decided to reach out to Blake Shelton over Facebook to see if the country superstar would be able to do anything.
Daniel’s post quickly went viral and just a few days ago, Shelton responded!
