“Voice” Contestant Gets 4-Chair Turn Thanks To Breathtaking Original Song.

If you live in Birmingham, England, the chances are good that you’ve already heard of singer-songwriter Benjamin Haycock. Now, thanks to a jaw-dropping debut on “The Voice UK,” the rest of the world is getting to know this hidden gem as well!

During his blind audition for season 10 of the popular talent competition, Benjamin unveiled his latest single, “Restlessness,” and it’s enough to touch anyone’s heart!

Benjamin grew up performing in pubs in his hometown north of London. He moved south in 2016 and has since written 40 songs, six of which appear on his solo EP, “Time’s Transgressions,” which was released in February 2018.

According to his website, the musician “blends melodically percussive guitar, tight flows, and thought-provoking rap lyrics and laces it with raw, emotive, and powerful singing vocals.”

Those talents were on full display as he took the stage to perform for celebrity judges Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones, Olly Murs, and Anne-Marie.

The moment Benjamin opened his mouth, we knew we were in for a treat! His voice is husky and unique, and he played his guitar with an unusual slapping motion that fit the song perfectly.

Viewers like us weren’t the only ones whose interest was piqued! Will.i.am turned to fellow judge Anne-Marie within seconds and mouthed, “Oh wow!”

Will.i.am and Anne-Marie were the first judges to turn their chairs around, indicating their desire to work with Benjamin to further hone his craft. Jones and Murs were a bit harder to convince, but we could see from their faces that they were seriously pondering hitting their buttons too.

Just as Benjamin completed his heartfelt song, the two holdouts finally flipped their chairs around!

Having all four judges compete to work with you has to feel good! No matter how Benjamin does on “The Voice UK,” we’re certain this isn’t the last we’ll hear from him. He’s just that good!
