Ever since Ruby Leigh took to The Voice stage, she’s proven that she’s a force to be reckoned with. At only 16 years old, she’s learned to capture so much about what people love about the sound of country and bluegrass music. She showed this to be true during her time on Team Reba, but she’s been sharing her talent long before this popular singing competition.

If you go to Ruby Leigh’s YouTube channel, you’ll discover all kinds of gems. For years, this talented singer has been sharing videos of herself singing. In fact, some go as far back as when she was only 10 years old.

There’s one video in particular, though, that’s recently captured everyone’s attention. In it, a then 15-year-old Ruby Leigh delivers a stunning rendition of Dust in a Baggie by Billy Strings. This song is all about addiction, incarceration, and regret, and she manages to convey the story perfectly.

Ruby Leigh Delivers Impressive Version of Dust in a Baggie by Billy Strings

“Timing is on point and the strummin ain’t half bad either,” one fan says in the comment section. “But the pipes are what tops the package…. Beautiful voice.”

“Saw you on TikTok and became and instant fan,” another shares. “I can’t wait to see all the music you release. Such talent.”

Fans of Ruby Leigh will be happy to hear that she’s currently working on her debut album. In fact, it looks like we might be getting it later this year!

“I’m going to try to put out a mostly original album,” she says. “I’m probably going to put some covers that I did on the show on there, too. I’ve had a great response from them and a lot of people have been like, ‘Record this please.'”

Until then, there’s plenty of other fantastic performances to enjoy on her YouTube channel!
