Baby Yak Lost In The Mountains Goes On Epic Adventure Home With The Help Of Kind Biker

While biking in the Mongolian mountains, a biker discovered a confused baby yak, all alone. The herd was a few kilometers behind the biker. Knowing the small animal wasn’t safe where he was, he decided to take him back. The first step was to turn the baby into a “Burrito” to keep him safe. The baby yak rescue mission was underway.

Calling the baby Yak “Burrito” was so natural. Once he was wrapped and securely fastened to the bike, they headed toward the herd. The little yak seemed to enjoy the ride, even though it got a little bumpy. They were able to locate the herd and the mama yak. Little Burrito joined her straight away.

With the baby yak rescue complete, it was time to return to their journey. The two bikers, Luke and Sam, were traveling from Vietnam to Spain across the Gobi Desert. The Aussies have been adventuring together since early 2024 when they began a hitchhiking journey across India.

These two men are truly enjoying life and pulling out all the stops.

Even back home in Australia, they push the limits of their physical bodies on adventures. Back home after their trip to India, they found a waterfall they had never seen. Not ones to shy away from anything, they rigged a line to descend the cliff.

Luke had yet another near-death experience (this happens a lot), this time by nearly drowning. When they reached the bottom, they swam in a small pool and enjoyed incredible views of the falls.

Throughout their journeys, these men demonstrate compassion toward animals by rescuing a baby yak and hanging out with a dog in the Gobi Desert. Follow the rest of their adventures on Instagram.
