It was a day like any other, while taking an afternoon drive, that a man spotted a beautiful brown mare standing strangely on a wooden bridge. She wasn’t moving a muscle, and seemed to be looking down at something on the road.

At first glance, the driver assumed the horse was simply taking in her surroundings… but then he moved in a little closer. That’s when he saw it. The mom was with her newborn foal who was stuck in a dangerous position on the bridge. The brown and white foal had fallen through a hole just large enough to entrap him. Helpless and frightened, the little guy had given up hope, but then the good samaritan decided to step in.
The man behind the wheel jumped out of the car and rushed to the foal’s rescue. He approached the frightened baby slowly to keep it from panicking, then moved quickly to save the little foal from a certain fate. Amazingly, the mare seemed to know the man was trying to help her baby, and stood quietly by as he worked to free her baby.
In one swift movement, the foal was back on his feet and happily trotted off with his momma. Check out the amazing moment below!
