Mohamed Belkhir, who goes by the stage name MB14, doesn’t need any background artists or musicians to back him up. In fact, as we’ve written before, he is capable of creating an entire symphony all by himself!
The 28-year-old French vocalist is a beatboxing artist with a large following in Europe. He first rose to fame on “The Voice France” in 2016, followed by “The Voice France All Stars” in 2021. In 2023, he took his shot on the “Britain’s Got Talent” stage, and the judges and hosts were all blown away by his unique skills.
Every sound you hear MB14 make is his own voice. To make his music, he sings individual elements of a song and records them using a loop station. He then layers each recording to create an on-the-fly composition that sounds like a full symphony instead of just one man. All of the judges had wide eyes and jaws on the floor as the artist performed on the “BGT” stage, but hosts Art and Dec were truly blown away. In the end, the hosts couldn’t resist showing their support by hitting the Golden Buzzer, sending MB14 straight to the live rounds!
