America’s Got Talent crowned the season 20 winner on September 24, after months of incredible competition. The top 10 finalists, Chris Turner, Jessica Sanchez, Jourdan Blue, Leo High School Choir, LightWire, Mama Duke, Micah Palace, Sirca Marea, Steve Ray Ladson, and Team Recycled, fought it out for the title. They had their work cut out for them as the AGT judges don’t make it easy, and the at-home voters want to be blown away. By the very end of the competition, it came down to two very worthy contests. As AGT host Terry Crews stood poised to announce whether Chris Turner or Jessica Sanchez would take home the $1 million grand prize, you could feel the tension through the screen. When he yelled Jessica’s name, she made show history.

This fan truly believed this was Jessica Sanchez’s time to shine on AGT.
“The moment she’s been waiting for. She was robbed of this moment 20 years ago. Now is HER time. Thank you America for giving her the crown! Congratulations Jessica,” they wrote.
