Like other dogs who’ve taken painful hits on their snouts after running full-speed into sliding glass doors everywhere, this poor pooch, Akelah, has really taken that lesson to heart. His family already has the Christmas tree up and they’re probably in the living room sipping cider and singing Christmas carols. Akelah really wants to join them. But he can’t.

The sliding glass door is the one thing standing in the way between him and the rest of his pack. Except it isn’t. Obviously, that door is wide open. C’mon, buddy, just walk on through!
But he’s fallen for that trick before. He’s not taking them on their word anymore, they have to prove it. And so he waits.
