A couple of parents-to-be took a chance while seeing Adele perform a show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace as part of her Las Vegas residency, and it majorly paid off! The venue doesn’t allow fans to carry signs, but Chris Dare and Shantelle Lord somehow managed to sneak one in. According to PopSugar, the message read, “Adele will you do our gender reveal?!?” The singer welcomed the expecting couple up to the stage, where they handed her a piece of paper to read aloud.
“Oh my god, I think it’s, like, from a doctor!” Adele exclaimed, before announcing to the audience that Chris and Shantelle were having a baby boy.
The star was genuinely touched that the couple had included her in their special moment, bursting into tears after the reveal.
“If and when I get pregnant, will you do my gender reveal?” she joked, adding, “I’ve got an 11-year-old boy at home, you’re in for a ride.”
