A commercial flight became an “aww”-worthy occasion when the pilot delivered a special thank you to his parents during an announcement. In a departure from his usual routine, Peter stepped out from the flight deck to address his passengers in person. He remarked that the reason for this was that his mom and dad happened to be aboard the flight! Everyone on the plane cheered as the pilot expressed his gratitude to the two people who had helped him get to where he is today.
“Mom, Dad, thank you for everything that you’ve given me throughout the years and what you sacrifice to be able to let me accomplish my goals and do what I like to do every day and fly airplanes,” said Peter. “I love you and thank you so much.”
