“She had been living in the South California heat on a chain in a backyard, with no grass or shade. She had been mistreated and beaten by one of her owners. She came to us obese, dirty, and suffering from chronic ear infections that caused bulbous cauliflower growths to block her ear canals.”
After a checkup at the vet, Gracs owner was told that she had developed a serious form of cancer. Devastated by the news, jd_cincy decided his sweet pup deserved more than the quality of life she had been provided. So he decided to do something about it, and drew up the best bucket list a dog could hope for.
“It was truly heartwarming for us to watch her thrive… She touched EVERY person she met. It’s wonderful to know that even though Grace was not treated well during her formative years, her final weeks were full of love from family, friends, and strangers alike.”
Over the next few months, the duo completed all but two of things on their list. Thanks to him, Grace not only found her forever home but also experienced the best years of her life. You can be sure that she passed from this life the happiest pup in the world.
