Busker’s Fiery “Stand By Me” Cover Brings Busy Train Station To A Halt.

Everyone loves a good street performance, but in a big city where performers are a dime a dozen, it’s hard to stand out.

You’ve got to be good — real good. And not just with your instrument or your vocals. You have to have the total package. Like this guy:

His version of “Stand by Me” is a little different than what you may be used to hearing. For one, it’s about twice as fast as the original, and the echo from the subway tunnel amplifies the percussion from his enthusiastic foot-tapping.

It’s the perfect Mumford and Sons-esque reboot to the classic tune, and you can’t help but tap your foot along with him!

As fellow passengers exit their trains, you can see their stunned faces. Has he ruined a classic, or given it a fresh new face? Based on the smiles and clapping along, we’re gonna say the latter.

It turns out, this guy is Aancod Zaccarelli, a famous international street busker in Seoul, South Korea. And watching this video, we aren’t surprised at all that he has a following!

Check out his cover in the video below, and share with someone who needs some pep in their step today.
