Tis the season for snow and time to begin spring cleaning chores around our homes. To say that the two necessities don’t quite mesh might be an understatement. The Weather Channel shares a video from Norway that proves this fact. Let’s set the stage. The wife is inside, attending to cleaning duties. The window open to allow some airflow. Her husband is outside, using the snowblower near the open window. What happens next will have you cringing, laughing, and crying.
We hear the dull roar of the snowblower through the window. Everyone seems engrossed in their separate chores. Suddenly, we hear a yelp in the kitchen. The yelp came from the wife when she felt and saw a cascade of cold, wet snow flying in through the open window!
We don’t speak Norwegian, so we have no clue what she is screaming at her husband, but we can make a pretty good guess. It doesn’t matter, he isn’t listening or can’t hear her over the snowblower. She begins to fight against the pressurized wall of snow trying to close the window.
Just as the frustrated housewife reaches the window, the cascade of snow magically stops. This forces a serious grunt of frustration that has her signaling that she gives up.
The aftermath is predictable. The once clean kitchen is now a snow-covered wasteland. The countertops, floor, and appliances are coated with a fresh layer of snow.
