When it came time for Ashley and Andrew to tie the knot, they chose to do so in a private ceremony. Almost a year later, however, they wanted to have a bigger celebration with their closest family and friends. Alexa Sorensen, a friend of the couple, explains that the plan was to attend a reception. But when guests arrived, they were surprised to find that a whole ceremony was going to take place, too! This wedding had a number of guests in tears… including a total stranger.

You see, Ashley and Andrew chose a rather public space for their ceremony. This meant anyone could interrupt or accidentally mess up the photographer’s shot. Luckily, the ceremony also took place where the kindest park guide ever works. Not only did she keep the area clean and safe, but she also watched on in tears. Check out this sweet moment in the video below!

“It was a true moment of connection and humanity,” Alexa says. “The comments on the video are what have had me crying all week. People have been so blown away by this display of human connection and sharing in each other’s joys.”
This Total Stranger Makes This Bride and Groom’s Intimate Wedding All the More Special
The park guide’s kindness extended beyond the ceremony. Once it was over, she took the time to officially meet the bride and groom. In fact, Ashley says she congratulated them both and complimented her on “how much of a beautiful bride” she was. Needless to say, they will never forget this woman’s kindness.
“It was so humbling to have someone care enough to make sure no one interrupted our ceremony,” Andrew says. “Also, to have her come over crying afterward, when I also was bawling, just shows that moments of vulnerability can really connect even complete strangers. She made our day so much more special than it already was, and I hope she knows how much her words and presence meant to us.”
