Catherine Zeta-Jones Is Proud Of Her Marriage To Michael Douglas
Catherine Zeta-Jones told Entertainment Tonight that marriage isn’t always easy, but she and Michael Douglas have raised a happy family.
“I think that what we’ve accomplished, and I think both of us will say the same, I’m not speaking just for myself, is our children are truly wonderful,” she said.
As they’ve gotten older, Dylan and Carys have made Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas’ marriage better.
“The joy they bring us, and now they’ve flown the nest, the joy that we have together,” she added.
Michael Douglas recently told Variety he’s walked away from his career to focus on his marriage to Catherine Zeta-Jones and their kids.
“I have not worked since 2022 purposefully because I realized I had to stop,” he told Variety. “I had been working pretty hard for almost 60 years. And I did not want to be one of those people who dropped dead on the set. I have no real intentions of going back. I say I’m not retired because if something special came up, I’d go back, but otherwise, no.”
Catherine continues to work and recently announced that Wednesday will officially return for another season. And while she stays busy, Catherine Zeta-Jones puts her marriage and family first. She showed that in a recent Instagram post from Carys’ graduation.
“The night before graduation!!!! We are both such proud parents right now!! It’s only just begun,” she wrote alongside a photo of she and Michael giving Carys a congratulatory kiss.
