Ansley Bunger is the artist. She creates amazingly detailed 3-dimensional animals and mounts them on a ceramic mug. Ansley will add a glaze to make the mug food-safe. Although the process is long and labor-intensive, the result is stunning.
Each element on these custom mug designs is hand-molded. The individual cats are hand-painted to match images you can supply or to create a variety. Every shelf and support on the cat tree spiraling around the mug is hand-shaped. Ansley pours her heart and soul into each creation. She does more than cats, too.
