Noreen and Flora are the definition of friendship goals. These sweet ladies were raised in Baie Verte, New Brunswick and spent much of their youth in the water.

While Noreen moved out of B.V. in adulthood and Flora did significant travel in her life, the two picked up their passion for splashing in 1985. Flora’s husband, Doug, joined the party, and the three started swimming on a daily basis every summer.
In recent years, Noreen equipped herself with a pool noodle for stability, while Flora still dives in head first. In fact, Flora loves to snorkel!
The joy of their love is palpable. True friendship really can last lifetimes.
“At this age, every day is a bonus,” Noreen expressed.
Noreen passed away earlier this year at the age of 91. She spent her days in the water as often as she could, enjoying the love of swimming and laughter with her closest friend.
