Nearing the end of life is never easy, but hospice workers are pros at making every moment count.
Barbara Kling is 82 years old and in hospice care in Arizona. In a video, we got to tag along with Barbara as the hospice caregivers surprised her with a field trip to cross off the last item on her bucket list. The look on her face when she finds out she will be going zip-lining is so joyous, we can’t help but grin right along with her!
After being strapped into the machine her caregivers called “the world’s safest zip line,” Barbara took an exhilarating ride.
“Oh, it was wonderful!” she said breathlessly. When asked if she wanted to go again, her answer was a resounding yes!
