A 7-year-old boy whose parents split up was very concerned that Santa would be confused by their new Christmas arrangements. So worried, in fact, he decided to pen a letter to Santa, reminding him to visit his dad’s house the weekend before the 25th for Christmas part I (he’d have part II on Christmas day with Mom).
When the boy’s dad heard about the note, he and a coworker conspired to write the perfect note from Santa in return:

Santa starts out by reassuring the boy that he’s on the nice list (very important to a 7-year-old), then lists off a few ideas for Christmas gifts, but most importantly, he tells him he’ll be there for a “super special early stop.”
“There are many boys and girls all over the world who have two Christmases and I make sure to come to each of their houses during Christmas time,” wrote ‘Santa.’ “That means I get twice the amount of cookies and milk. Yum yum!”
What a sweet way for this dad and coworker to bring the magic of Christmas to this boy during a hard time!
