There are plenty of reasons as to why there are countless folks all around the world who consider themselves to be huge sports fans. One of them, of course, has to do with competition. Whether you’re a player or a fan rooting for your favorite team, it can be fun to lean into the competitive side of things. Still, at the end of the day, nothing beats genuine good sportsmanship.
This can be as simple as not being a sore loser or winner. But sportsmanship can manifest in many ways, including those that can warm the hearts of those who don’t consider themselves to be sports fans. 2. When this football player began to limp off the field, a player from the opposing team was the first one to swoop in and help.

3. By striking out his friend, this baseball player secured his team’s spot in the state championship. Instead of celebrating, the first thing he did was comfort his friend.
