This little boy with hyperlexia has the awe-inspiring ability to write in countless font styles, and his dad caught the coolest footage of his skills in action! In a fascinating video on social media, six-year-old Sebastian effortlessly whipped out five different scripts without looking at a reference. In the video, Sebastian easily produced a list of fonts using what looks like a dry-erase marker. Throughout the clip, you can hear the child’s dad cheering him on as he writes out each unique script. It seems like the man is pretty proud of his son’s awesome talent!

Although this boy’s skill is pretty extraordinary, it’s not the only thing that makes Sebastian special. According to his Instagram bio, he’s been able to read since he was 18 months old. That’s pretty amazing!

Apparently, Sebastian has hyperlexia. WebMD states that this occurs “when a child starts reading early and surprisingly beyond their expected ability.”

“It’s often accompanied by an obsessive interest in letters and numbers, which develops as an infant,” the description adds.

This definition of hyperlexia definitely seems to explain Sebastian’s incredible ability to draw letters in so many different types of fonts! WebMD also tells us that hyperlexia often goes hand-in-hand with autism, which this child has, as well.

On Instagram, Sebastian’s dad has captured tons of videos of the young boy applying his skill set to different activities. For example, one spelling challenge saw the six-year-old tackling a variety of difficult words in absolutely perfect handwriting.
