Whether the relationship lasted a month or four years, breakups are hard. For some people, going through this can be especially difficult if they are in their thirties.
There is this idea that you have to have it all figured out by the time you hit this age. However, that is not always how life works out. This is something that Kelsey Huse, a software engineer from Austin, Texas, had to learn the hard way. Kelsey and her boyfriend broke up at the age of 30, which left her feeling like she would never date again.
In hopes of finding some motivation to try finding love again, Kelsey decided to ask the Twitter community for some help.
“My bf broke up with me this week and I just wanna hear happy stories of people who found their partner in their 30s thanks,” she tweeted.
Her tweet got an overwhelming amount of comments, likes, and retweets that prove it is NEVER too late to find the one.
Here are some of the best stories of people that found love in their thirties!

Met my beloved aged 38, on the worse period of my life. She was the only women in my life, who turned to look back and waved at me when she walked away. I proposed, after 28 days knowing her. ❤️ comes when you least expect it. But the wait is worth it. pic.twitter.com/G4JZNy4r5m— Ahmad Supian (@Omegasupremo) November 29, 2020
8. Who would’ve thought a funeral would lead this couple to the altar?
I strongly believe getting married in your 20s should be illegal. Sort of kidding, but I met my husband at 32 at a funeral. We make each other laugh just by being ourselves. He is the kindest person I know.— Mona Holmes (@monaeatsLA) November 29, 2020
We celebrated our 13 year wedding anniversary this year. pic.twitter.com/2A8iNU04VU

12. Don’t judge a book by its cover, or in this case, its “tagline.”
I used to judge ppl on their “tagline” before I met them (thanks tinder) Almost 5 yrs ago I decided to start meeting ppl regardless of whether I thought they were my “type” & said yes to a date I would have never gone on because he was from Long Island🤷🏻♀️ This weekend he proposed pic.twitter.com/m3pIMUJ4Jb— Kelsey Masters (@KJ_Masters) November 30, 2020
