10 Celebrities Who Gave Rescue Pets The Perfect Forever Home

We have plenty of options when it comes to bringing home a family pet, but the best place to get one, by far, is from a local animal shelter. When we adopt our little ones from a rescue center, we’re not only giving a stray a loving home, but we’re also freeing up space so another animal can be safe until they find their own forever family.

Not to mention, some of the best pet relationships are formed because of adoption! Need proof? Here are 10 celebrities who definitely had enough money to purchase a pet through a breeder, but chose to save some adorable lives instead.

1. Selena Gomez is dog-mom to Gomez and Winnie and adopted sweet Daisy after she grew attached to her while fostering.
