This Christmas was a particularly exciting one for the Robertsons. The family, best known for their time on Duck Dynasty welcomed a new baby just in time for the holidays. Jessica Robertson, wife of Jep Robertson, shared the big grand baby news on Instagram. Jessica and Jep’s daughter, Merritt Metro, and her husband, Tyler Metro, welcomed their first child.

“We are thrilled to welcome another precious grandbaby into our family. Nellie Jane Metro is such a blessing, and we are so proud of you @itsmerrmetro and @tyler.metro11 !” Jessica wrote.
This Baby Continues the Duck Dynasty
Phil and Kay Robertson were married for nearly 60 years before he passed away in May 2025. The couple had four sons who’ve helped the family continue to grow and prosper. Fans loved seeing the new Robertson baby and shared sweet messages with the family.
“Congratulations!! My daughter just had a baby boy on the 18th. He was 2 months early and weighed only 3lbd 7oz. But he’s doing really well! I’ve been sad because I can’t see him cause he’s in the NICU and only my daughter and the baby’s father are allowed to see him. Hopefully, he’ll be coming home soon,” a fan shared.

Merrit Metro also shared a post with her addition to the Robertson family and her darling baby.
“It’s been one week since our sweet Nellie Jane Metro arrived! we’re absolutely mesmerized,” the proud mama wrote.
