Traveler Finds Abandoned 3-Month-Old Puppy In Airport Restroom, Then Sees Heartbreaking Note About Abuse.

A traveler at the McCarran Airport in Las Vegas, got a huge surprise this weekend when she found a puppy in the women’s restroom.

The pup– a 3-month-old Chihuahua mix– came with a heartbreaking note, explaining why he’d been left behind. According to the handwritten note, his name is Chewy, and his original owner was the victim of an abusive relationship. She didn’t want to leave Chewy behind, but she had “no other option.”

Hi! I’m Chewy!

My owner was in an abusive relationship and couldn’t afford me to get on the flight. She didn’t want to leave me with all her heart, but she has no other option.

My ex-boyfriend kicked my dog when we were fighting and he has a big knot on his head. He probably needs a vet. I love Chewy sooo much — please love and take care of him. Xoxoxoxo

The woman who found Chewy alerted authorities, and he’s since been relocated to Connor and Millie’s Dog Rescue. The rescue group posted Chewy’s story, and it has since gone viral!
